Daniel Goleman is an internationally known psychologist who lectures frequently to professional groups, business audiences, and on college campuses. As a science journalist Goleman reported on the brain and behavioral sciences for The New York Times for many years. His 1995 book, Emotional Intelligence was on The New York Times bestseller list for a year-and-a-half, with more than 5,000,000 copies in print worldwide in 40 languages, and has been a best seller in many countries. Apart from his books on emotional intelligence, Goleman has written books on  topics including self-deception, creativity, transparency, meditation, social and emotional learning, ecoliteracy and the ecological crisis.

Fascinated with the importance of stories, Hanuman began his career recording audio for cultural preservation. Since founding More Than Sound, LLC (dba Key Step Media) in 2005, one story has risen to the top in terms of importance: ‘WE CAN AND MUST DEVELOP EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE.’ This story is one of how we as individuals and communities cultivate more self-awareness and empathy — how we develop and leverage the competencies of emotional intelligence in order to make more intentional and thoughtful decisions and become more effective leaders in every area of our lives.

Elizabeth is a certified Emotional Intelligence Coach, writer, and workplace strategist invested in equity and positive social change. Bridging business-oriented strategy and intuition-guided development, she has spent over a decade at the intersection of corporate culture, storytelling, and leadership development—a place where transformation happens. Influenced by neuroscience, theater, spirituality, and a dash of the mystic, she helps individuals and organizations clarify their purpose, communicate authentically, and redefine “business as usual.” The founder of New Realm Coaching and Consulting, her approach is both data-driven and intuitive—grounded in the facts while embracing our humanity. 

Kerry Seed

Kerry is a multimedia producer focused on human-centered audience engagement. He’s produced features for and contributed to many outlets including The Wall St. Journal, WashingtonPost.com, NYTimes.com, NPR and BBC. He previously served as the assistant director and senior producer of WMPG’s Blunt Youth Radio Project. In partnership with PRX, he also created, hosted, and produced WMPG’s The Local Option. He’s passionate about raising everyone’s ability to recognize and engage with our own emotions as well as the ability to identify, understand, and affect the feelings of others.

Over the last decade, Gaby has leveraged storytelling to drive brand awareness for organizations across education, wellness, and social-good industries. She is involved in producing several podcasts related to social good, including her own show, The Way We Lead podcast, where she talks about what it means to be a leader, an ally, and an advocate for underrepresented folks.
